Anmoore is a town in Harrison County, West Virginia, United States. It is located approximately 6 miles southwest of the city of Bridgeport. As of the 2010 census, the population of Anmoore was 637.
The town was incorporated in 1950 and its name comes from Anmoore Creek, which runs through the area. Anmoore is known for its historic railroad depot, which was built by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in 1913 and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Anmoore is primarily a residential community, but there are a few businesses located within the town, including a gas station, a convenience store, and a post office. The town is also home to the Anmoore Volunteer Fire Department, which serves the surrounding area.
Anmoore is located in close proximity to several major highways, including Interstate 79 and U.S. Route 50, which provide easy access to nearby cities such as Clarksburg and Fairmont.
